Nursing and dental students can train in hospitals

The University of Hawaii's board of regents can make agreements with hospitals or similar places in Hawaii so that nursing and dental hygiene students can get hands-on training there. This section only gives the board this power.

The statute, as written — Clinical training and practice; board of regents; power to contract

The board of regents may enter into contracts with any hospital or similar institution, in the State, for the purpose of arranging for clinical training and practice therein for students of the school of nursing and dental hygiene.
