Equal education program and support office at the university
This section creates a university program to make sure everyone has equal chances to get an education. It also sets up an office to plan, run, and check these programs. The university must give money and staff to support this work.
The statute, as written — Program of equal educational opportunity; coordinating office of educational services for the disadvantaged
(a) There is established a program of equal educational opportunity as an integral and major program of the university. The university shall provide monetary and human resources toward developing and planning an equal educational opportunity program. (b) There is created a coordinating office of educational services for the disadvantaged at the university which shall have the responsibility and authority to coordinate, develop, and evaluate programs of equal educational opportunity.
