Agreements with other states for school approval

The state education director can make deals with other states to recognize each other's school approvals. These deals must meet or beat Hawaii's own approval rules. This section only allows such agreements; it does not set other requirements.

The director may enter into any post-secondary education authorization reciprocity agreement; provided that the authorization standards of the reciprocity agreement shall be comparable to or exceed the authorization requirements of this chapter and any applicable administrative rules.
