Eligibility for Guaranteed Student Loans

This section says which students can get loans guaranteed by this program. It is narrow and only covers eligibility. Students qualify if they meet federal requirements and attend a school that meets federal accreditation standards.

The statute, as written — Eligibility

All students meeting the requirements of and attending institutions meeting the accreditation standards of Public Law 89-329 and Public Law 89-287 or similar federal laws shall be eligible for loans guaranteed under this program.
