This section protects people and agencies from being sued or charged with a crime if they act according to this part of the law. It only covers actions that follow the rules. It does not create new duties or rights.

The statute, as written — Immunity from liability

A person or public or private agency shall not be liable for any damage or subject to criminal prosecution for any act done pursuant to and in compliance with this part.
