If someone ends their own life under this law in a public place, the government that paid for the costs can ask the person's estate to pay them back, plus reasonable lawyer fees for collecting. This section only covers that government claim.

Any governmental entity that incurs costs resulting from a person terminating the person's life pursuant to this chapter in a public place shall have a claim against the estate of the person to recover costs and reasonable attorneys' fees related to enforcing the claim.
