This section says that the rules in this chapter do not allow smoking in places where other laws already ban it. It does not change any existing smoking restrictions. It just makes clear that this law does not override stricter rules.

This chapter shall not be interpreted or construed to permit smoking where it is otherwise restricted by other applicable laws.
