Publishing and sharing controlled substance schedules

The Department of Public Safety must post the controlled substance schedules on its website at least once a year, and more often if needed. It must also announce and share any changes to the schedules as soon as they are made.

The statute, as written — Republishing and distribution of schedules

[Section effective until December 31, 2023. For section effective January 1, 2024, see below.] (a) The department of public safety shall make available to the public on the department's website the schedules annually or more often, as may be necessary to update the schedules. (b) The department of public safety shall publicly announce and, in addition, shall make available to the public copies of any changes to the schedules as such changes are made.
