Penalties under other laws

This section says that if you break this chapter's rules, any penalty you get is on top of other penalties the law already allows. It does not replace them. It is a short rule about how penalties stack.

Any penalty imposed for violation of this chapter is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any civil or administrative penalty or sanction otherwise authorized by law.
