Injunctions

This section lets circuit courts stop people from breaking drug laws by issuing court orders. If you are accused of violating one of those orders, you can ask for a jury trial. It is a short, procedural rule about court powers and your right to a jury.

The statute, as written — Injunctions

(a) The circuit courts of this State may exercise jurisdiction to restrain or enjoin violations of this chapter. (b) The defendant may demand trial by jury for an alleged violation of an injunction or restraining order under this section.
