Evaluation of mental health programs

This section requires the state to spend enough money to create and run a way to evaluate mental health programs. The department and programs must set the evaluation rules, do the evaluation by a certain date, and send the report to the legislature.

An adequate proportion of funds shall be applied to the development and implementation of an appropriate evaluation mechanism. The department, in conjunction with the programs, shall specify the criteria to be used in the evaluation of each program and in the evaluation of the entire system. By June 30, 1982, the department shall conduct or contract for the evaluation. Evaluation reports shall be transmitted to the legislature.
