HRS §334D-4

Civil immunity for people who help with nurse recovery programs

This section protects people and groups from being sued for reporting information or taking action in good faith about a nurse recovery program. It also protects employers who help a chemically dependent nurse, unless they knew the nurse couldn't do the job or failed to watch the nurse's work. The law assumes good faith, and the person claiming bad faith must prove it.
