The Department of Health can split Hawaii into areas for tracking public health statistics. These areas must follow county lines or other divisions the department chooses. This section only sets up how those areas are made.

The department of health shall divide the State from time to time into public health statistics registration districts, which shall conform to political subdivisions, or combinations thereof, or such other subdivision as the department may deem advisable.
