Who can give oaths for delayed vital records

The health department's research and statistics office can have some regular employees appointed by the health director to give oaths. These oaths are needed when people register vital events late or correct items on vital records. This section only covers who can administer those oaths.

Regular employees in the research and statistics office of the department of health may be appointed by the director of health to administer the oaths required by this chapter to be taken when registering vital events on a delayed basis and when correcting items on vital records registered under this chapter.
