Drinking water fund: interest and investments

This section says the director can invest money in the drinking water fund and any interest earned goes back into the fund. It does not set rules for how the money is spent or managed beyond that.

The statute, as written — Drinking water fund; interest and investment on accounts

Moneys in the drinking water fund shall be placed in interest bearing investments or otherwise invested at the discretion of the director until such time as the moneys may be needed. All interest accruing from the investment of these moneys shall be credited to the drinking water fund.
