Getting written approval before causing air pollution

You must get written approval from the director before doing anything that causes air pollution or releases regulated air pollutants. This applies to everyone, including public bodies. Without that approval, such activities are prohibited.

No person, including any public body, shall engage in any activity which causes air pollution or causes or allows the emission of any regulated air pollutant without first securing approval in writing from the director.
