Crematorium permits

This section says crematoriums that burn human remains must get a permit under this chapter. If a crematorium was built before March 20, 1972, and is operating without a permit, its owner or operator must apply for one by December 31, 2013.

Crematoriums of human remains operating within the State shall be subject to the permit requirements of this chapter; provided that the owners or operators of any crematoriums constructed before March 20, 1972, and operating within the State without a permit shall submit permit applications to the department no later than December 31, 2013.
