Other legal remedies still available

This section says that this law does not take away any other legal rights or penalties that already exist for a wrong action. If someone breaks a state law, a department rule, or a county rule, they can still be sued or charged under those other rules.

The statute, as written — Other action not barred

No existing civil or criminal remedy for any wrongful action which is a violation of any statute or any rule of the department or the ordinance of any county shall be excluded or impaired by this chapter.
