HRS §342I-22
Disposing of motor vehicle tires
This law says how you must get rid of motor vehicle tires. You cannot throw whole tires in regular trash or dump them. You must take them to a tire retailer, wholesaler, or an authorized tire collection or recycling site. Each tire thrown away wrongly is a separate violation, and penalties apply.
