Records and monitoring the department can require

The department can make owners or operators of asbestos or lead abatement activities keep records, report, monitor hazards, sample emissions, and provide other information. This section gives the department the power to ask for these things. It does not set specific rules or deadlines.

The director may require the owner or operator of any asbestos or lead abatement activity to: (1) Establish and maintain such records; (2) Make such reports; (3) Install, use, and maintain such monitoring equipment or methods; (4) Monitor hazards; (5) Sample such emissions; and (6) Provide such other information; as the department may require.
