Officials must help protect vulnerable adults

This section says that all public officials and departments must help in any way they can to support the goals of this part. The department and the court can also ask groups that protect or help vulnerable adults to cooperate.

The statute, as written — Cooperation

Every public official or department shall render all assistance and cooperation within the official's or department's power and that may further the purpose and objectives of this part. The department and the court may seek the cooperation of organizations whose objectives are to protect or aid vulnerable adults.
