Medical exams for crime victim compensation applicants

The commission can choose a neutral doctor or psychologist to examine someone who applies for help under this chapter. The state pays for the exam from its administrative budget.

The statute, as written — Medical examination

The commission may appoint an impartial licensed physician or licensed psychologist to examine any person making application under this chapter, and the fees for the examination shall be paid from funds appropriated for expenses of administration.
