Community services program

This section creates a community services program inside youth correctional facilities. The program places committed youth in education, job training, work release, and housing programs. It also advises the director about parole, furlough, release, and other commitment decisions.

There is established a community services program within the youth correctional facilities which shall coordinate the placement of persons committed to the care of the director in educational, vocational, and work release programs and residential placement. The program also shall advise the director or the director's duly authorized agent as to the granting of parole, furlough, release, and other matters affecting the commitment of a person.
