Contracts for programs helping female offenders

This section lets the corrections director offer contracts to private agencies that already help female offenders or want to start new programs. The goal is to encourage cooperation. Contracts follow state procurement rules.

To encourage cooperation and assist private agencies that have existing programs designed specifically for female offenders and to encourage private agencies to develop and implement new programs, the director of corrections and rehabilitation shall make contracts available to private agencies electing to participate in the contract program, subject to chapter 103F.
