Penalties for employment agency violations

An employment agency that breaks the rules in this chapter can be punished. If found guilty, it may have to pay a fine or go to jail, or both. The exact amount and time are set by law.

The statute, as written — Penalties

Any employment agency which violates this chapter is punishable upon conviction by a fine of not more than $1,000, or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.
