Extra powers beyond other laws

This section says the powers given in this chapter are extra, on top of powers from other laws. It does not reduce any other powers the governor or the designated agency already has. It just makes clear these powers add to, not replace, existing ones.

The statute, as written — Powers in addition to other powers

The powers conferred by this chapter shall be in addition and supplemental to the powers conferred by any other law, including sections 125-1 to 125-7 and nothing herein shall be construed as limiting any other powers of the governor or the designated agency mentioned in section 382-3.
