How much extra unemployment pay you can get

This section sets the most additional unemployment benefits a person can receive. That maximum is 13 times their weekly benefit amount. It is figured out the first week they claim these extra benefits and stays the same for the period in section 385-16.

The statute, as written — Maximum benefits payable

A claimant's maximum potential additional unemployment benefits shall be thirteen times the claimant's weekly benefit amount, and shall be determined in the week in which the claimant first claims for additional unemployment benefits and shall remain unchanged for the period specified in section 385-16.
