Severability

This section says that if a court decides one part of this law is invalid, the rest of the law still stands and applies normally. It only covers that one rule about keeping the rest of the law valid.

The statute, as written — Severability

If any provision of this chapter, or the application thereof, to any person or circumstance, is subsequently held to be invalid, the invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this chapter.
