Penalty for employers who block or break the law

An employer who deliberately stops or interferes with the department's work under this chapter, or who intentionally breaks any part of this chapter, commits a petty misdemeanor. This section sets the penalty for such actions.

Any employer who intentionally resists, prevents, impedes, or interferes with the department in the performance of duties pursuant to this chapter, or who in any manner intentionally violates this chapter, shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor.
