HRS §412:2-201

Using federal exam results for state checks

The state banking commissioner can use exam results from a federal agency instead of doing its own exam of a Hawaii financial institution, as long as the federal exam covers the same time or topic. This lets the state rely on federal work to avoid duplicate checks.
