Commissioner's powers are not limited by this part

This section says that nothing in this part takes away any other powers the commissioner or the division already has. Instead, this part adds to those powers and gives the commissioner another way to use them.

No provision under this part shall be construed to limit, modify, or restrain any other powers otherwise granted to the commissioner or the division. The provisions of this part shall supplement and provide an alternative to the commissioner's other authority and powers under this article.
