Rules for savings and loan lending and investing

This part explains the rules for how savings and loan associations can lend money and invest their assets. These rules apply to all such associations. They can only make loans or investments that this part or other parts of the law allow.

The statute, as written — Applicability of part

This part sets forth the requirements and restrictions for lending and investments by all savings and loan associations. A savings and loan association may make loans and extensions of credit and may invest its assets as may be permitted by this part and as may be provided elsewhere in this article.
