HRS §421-24

Existing agricultural cooperatives are covered by this law

This section says that any agricultural cooperative association already formed under Hawaii law is covered by this chapter, unless the chapter says something different for that situation. It makes the rules apply to older groups as well as new ones.

The statute, as written — Application to existing association

Except where otherwise expressly stated herein, this chapter shall be applicable to any existing association formed under any law of the State providing for the incorporation of agricultural cooperative associations, for a purpose for which an association may be formed under this chapter.
