Filing fee for insurance contracts

When you file an insurance contract that needs the commissioner's approval, or one the insurer says follows the law, you must pay a $20 fee. The fee goes to the commissioner's education and training fund.

Each insurance contract requiring approval by the commissioner pursuant to this code, section 392-48, or section 386-124 and each contract certified by the insurer to be in conformity with this code shall be accompanied by a $20 fee payable to the commissioner, which shall be deposited into the commissioner's education and training fund.
