When certain insurance policy rules do not apply

This section says that some rules in this part do not have to be included in certain insurance policies. It applies to single premium policies, term policies, and policies issued under nonforfeiture provisions. If a rule does not fit those policies, it can be left out.

The statute, as written — Application to term and specified insurance

Any of the provisions required by this part or any portion thereof which are not applicable to single premium or term policies or to policies issued or granted pursuant to nonforfeiture provisions, shall to that extent not be incorporated therein.
