HRS §431:10D-313

Insurer can limit liability in this policy

This section lets an insurance company put limits on its responsibility in this type of policy. The limits must be the same as those allowed for other life insurance contracts under a related law. It is a short rule about what the insurer can do.

The statute, as written — Limitation of liability

The insurer may in any such policy limit its liability for the same causes and to the same extent as is provided in section 431:10D-312 for other life insurance contracts.
