HRS §431:19-103
Naming rules for captive insurance companies
This section sets two narrow rules for captive insurance companies. They must pick a name that is not the same as or too similar to another business name already registered in Hawaii. They also must get approval from the state commerce department and the insurance commissioner before using or changing a trade name.
