If one part is invalid, the rest still stands

This section says that if a court decides one part of this law is invalid, the other parts still work. It only applies to this part of the insurance law. The goal is to keep the valid parts in effect.

The statute, as written — Severability

If any provision of this part, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such determination shall not affect the provisions or application of this part which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to that end the provisions of this part are severable.
