No buying or selling votes at insurer meetings

This law makes it illegal to buy, sell, or trade votes or proxies for meetings of shareholders or members of a domestic insurance company. It also bans any corrupt or dishonest behavior at those meetings.

No person shall buy, sell or barter a vote or proxy, relative to any meeting of shareholders or members of an incorporated domestic insurer, or engage in any corrupt or dishonest practice in or relative to the conduct of any such meeting.
