Who is responsible for keeping deposits safe

This State shall be responsible for the safekeeping and return of all funds and securities deposited pursuant to section 431:7-301 to section [431:7-311] with the director of finance. The insurer shall be responsible for the safekeeping and return of all funds and securities deposited pursuant to section 431:7-306.
