HRS §431:8-300
Exemptions from surplus lines law
This section lists insurance types that are not covered by the surplus lines law when a licensed Hawaii producer places them. It covers reinsurance, ocean marine, out-of-state risks, and most aircraft insurance. It does not create new rules; it simply says these are exempt.
