HRS §432:1-618
Insurance coverage for annual STD and HIV screenings
Most health plans in Hawaii must pay for yearly tests for sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV and AIDS. Plans that only cover certain diseases or limited benefits are exempt. Mutual benefit societies must reimburse doctors and providers for these tests.
