HRS §436E-3

Acupuncture license required to practice

You must have a valid, unrevoked state license or intern permit to practice acupuncture in Hawaii, whether you charge money or not. You also cannot offer to practice or say you are ready to practice without that license. The permit requirement starts only after the board adopts certain rules.
