Court can order repayment to harmed consumers

If someone breaks the rules in this chapter, a court can order them to pay back consumers who were hurt by that illegal act. This section only says the court has this power; it does not set amounts or procedures.

The statute, as written — Restitution

Any person who engages in an unlawful act or practice that violates any provision of this chapter may be ordered by a court of proper jurisdiction to make restitution to all individual consumers injured by the act or practice.
