Director’s power to make rules

This section gives the director the authority and responsibility to create, change, or cancel rules needed to carry out this law. The director must follow the state’s rule-making process. This section is only about the director’s rule-making power.

The director shall have the power and duty to adopt, amend, and repeal rules in accordance with chapter 91 to carry out the purposes of this chapter and to do all things necessary to carry out the functions, powers, and duties set forth in this chapter.
