Commission can make and change its own rules

The commission can create, update, or remove rules it needs to run its business and handle what this chapter covers. These rules become law if they follow the state's rulemaking process.

The commission may adopt, amend, and repeal rules that it considers necessary or expedient for the conduct of its business and the regulation of the matters in this chapter committed to its charge. The rules when adopted pursuant to chapter 91 shall have the force and effect of law.
