Fines for cemetery and funeral rule violations
This section adds a fine for cemeteries and pre-need funeral businesses that break the rules in this chapter. Each separate violation can cost up to $5,000. This is on top of any other penalties the law already has.

In addition to the penalties otherwise provided by law, any cemetery or pre-need funeral authority that violates, or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter or rules adopted pursuant thereto shall be fined not more than $5,000 for each violation.
