Auctioneer's agent

An auctioneer can hire someone to run their auction business for them. The auctioneer is fully responsible for everything that person does, just as if the auctioneer did it themselves.

Any auctioneer may appoint any agent or assistant to act for the auctioneer in the conduct of the auctioneer's auction business, for all of the acts of whom the auctioneer shall be responsible in the same manner as though they were done personally by the auctioneer.
