Getting a license and paying the fee

If you qualify for a license, you get one after paying a fee set by the department. The license lasts for three years. This section only covers the license and its fee.

[Section effective until June 30, 2026. For section effective July 1, 2026, see below.] A license shall be issued to a person deemed to be qualified under section 453D-7 upon the payment of a license fee to be determined by the department and shall be valid for three years.
