HRS §454F-24

When mortgage servicer employees can skip loan originator licensing

This section says an employee of a mortgage servicer does not need to register or get licensed as a mortgage loan originator if their work is part of their job and they only handle residential loan modifications or process loan assumption approvals. The exemption is narrow and only applies to those specific tasks.
